Extremely helpful! My grandfather needed transportation for my grandmother’s funeral and Southern Bus and Mobility was there for us in our time of need. The staff helped ensure my grandfather not only had transportation, but their flexibility with pickup and drop-off of the van made the day a little less stressful. You would not go wrong calling when you are in need transportation that is accessible to the handicap. This company is one to standby as they care about you and your needs.
We purchased a used 2012 Honda Odyssey on eBay, removed the passenger seat, which triggered an airbag light error. Also, the ramp would not deploy consistently. Thanks to the thoroughness of the mechanics, technicians, and manager, Charles, found numerous problems that their closest competitor overlooked (see photos of altered plug). This altered plug would’ve prevented the airbag system’s deployment in a collision. The skilled technicians at Southern Bus repaired our van’s airbag system and ramp with one appointment whereas their competitor could not after several attempts. If you have a vehicle problem, GO TO SOUTHERN BUS WITH CONFIDENCE! They stand behind their work and their shop rate is very fair. Thank you, Charles, and your team for fixing our van.
Had an excellent experience renting a mobility vehicle. Stormy, Charles, Larry and Dale at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Reading some other reviews below, like One Eye Willy's I believe to be not accurate. Most likely Mr. One Eye witnessed another customer with a rental vehicle and does not reflect this business at all.
I paid $2,500 Southern Bus & mobility to repair the lift in my vehicle. $1000 for service, $800 for diagnostic. 5 days for part to come in, ok
but they didn't call me, I called them on Monday, Your car will repaired today Tuesday, Your car will be repaired today Wednesday, your car will be repaired today. At this point I was super suspicious and weary. I get out there. I popped up on Thursday. They said all your car has been repaired. We're waiting on your insurance company. But I left them a primary way up pan before the insurance company. I get out there. My car is missing parts on the top inside the two service guys watch as I try to let the lift out making this horrible noise if they ran back in and sat down the most unprofessional service Ive experience with a company. I request my money back. They refuse. They mentioned to bring the car back in mind you the head my car from August 9th to August 17th. Parts missing off my car. Bad customer service. Now I got to spend more money to have my car repaired by someone else, not alone to mention the $500 rental I had to have. They said they're not paying for that either. My suggestions is if you take your car to this company before you pay have your car thoroughly checked in front of them before you leave.
